What size charger do I need?
When selecting a charger, you should choose one with a capacity equivalent to at least 10 percent of the battery bank’s size, e.g.:
- 15A: up to 150 Ah battery capacity.
- 25A: up to 250 Ah battery capacity
- 35A: up to 350 Ah battery capacity
A 25A charger can also charge a 300 Ah battery bank. The difference is that it takes longer for the charger to charge the batteries, and it is subjected to a heavier load.
