Sikaflex 591 is an improved successor to 291i and is based on so-called STP technology. Sikaflex 591 is improved in many ways compared to Sikaflex291i by having significantly better UV resistance, higher mold resistance and improved adhesion. Sikaflex 591 is more stable in color and it is more suitable for demanding conditions in marine environments compared to the previous version of Sikaflex 291i. Sikaflex 591 works perfectly as an adhesive, sealant and joint compound. It is sandable and overpaintable after curing and is shock and vibration resistant. Weather and salt water resistant. Skinning time after about 60 min. Curing speed about 3 mm after 24 hours. Solvent free.
